A replacement double-hook lock body for the existing slider.
On Ocean Avenue in Amityville, we replaced the double-hook lock body in a sliding door. The photographed mechanism sits in the edge of the door and works with the existing handle and locking points.
A replacement lock body must match the door and the original mechanism. The faceplate, mounting positions and keeper arrangement all matter when identifying the correct part.
For a similar problem, send photos of the handle, the full door edge and the frame-side keeper. Tell us whether the door slides freely and what happens when you operate the lock.
